Blogpost 3: Teens when they are Bored

Why are teenagers so easily bored? The teenagers dilemma is this. As a teenager, we want freedom to be independent, because we are thinking that we know what we are doing. But what we discovers is that freedom is one birthplace of boredom. Now that we have more choice as a teenager, what are we going to do with it?

As I happened to found this website entitled Military Schools & Alternatives to Military School with the article Bored teens are likely to drink, take Drugs was made Jill Gonzalez. I found this article Teen drug abuse in her article."Most teens don't start using drugs expecting to develop a substance abuse problems, and while most teens probably see their drug use as a casual way to have fun, there are negative effects that are a results of this use and abuse of alcohol and other drugs. The biggest consequences to casual drug use can be that it develops into a true addition. Very few addicts recognize when they have crossed the line from casual use to addiction." I'am  thinking that all of us minded into the many screens of social media, electronic entertainment and anything that can tell us that it's okay to do things that are not accepted. I think we are creating a society in which children and teenager like me have grown used to being electronically link, because of that social media trying to influence teenagers to do nasty things and bring into a real world what they learn in Internet. And eventually practicing it with real life challenges. To overcome boredom, some teenagers tend to imitate what they saw or hear.

Do you ever get bored with dating?  Is dating out of boredom? This questions still remains in my brain. Every time I see two people having a sweet or lets say romantic gestures. How they get attracted to each other?

As I was going through articles about boredom. This article caught my attention entitled Dating out of Boredom?  by Inayat Dhanda. The article states that " A large number of youngsters opt for dating simply because they have nothing better to do. Boredom leads to incompatible relationships: That is what many realize after breaking up." but why they have to date someone that they are not interest in? that is why they get bored during the date because they are not interested, feeling bored leads many young people in our generation chose dating rather than searching other things that can help to improve their character to be a better person, in that case relationships are treated like experience for enjoyment and not for real commitment.

Life is a choice. Get out, meet people, and be open to new people and new experiences with them. You'll meet someone better that will suits your behavior. Constant choice in our every moment of our lives, where we want to choose what we want to do with our time. We can make the most out of it, we only live once. But to be able to achieve that, don't let boredom eat you.
