Nowadays, there are many cures for every illness, because of the modernity in our society. Imagine if we don't have any machinery to cure all that sickness? What would be the status of our society? Giving remedy for a sickened body is too expensive especially if you don't have enough money to pay that remedy. But for this type of emotion that everyone experience's there's is a cure.
From the article I found entitled "7 Ways To Cure Boredom" made by Gretchen Rubin she stated that there are seven cures the first one would be; Put the word "meditation" after the activity that's boring you, this first cure I actually tried it, I also put the word meditation after doing this activity which is studying for an exam like "studying math meditation" It was funny at first but actually it helps a lot by lessening the boredom while studying math. The second cure is Dig in, it's a certain cure that when you're bored doing something continue doing it until you then feel fascinated by that. The third cure Take the perspective of a journalist or scientist, the fourth cure Find an area of refuge, doing something out of your comfort zone. The fifth cure is Look for a way to feel grateful, for example your in class, your teacher is discussing a lesson instead of being bored you should be grateful because at that very moment, unlike the other adults who are working and suffering the terror of their boss you are just in class listening to the lecture of your teacher. The sixth cure, Consider: "Am I the boring one?",as La Rochefoucauld’s observation, “We are always bored by those whom we bore.” you should be aware of your surroundings, if you yourself is already bored of what you are talking about, then think about how the person you are talking to feels wouldn't he or she get bored as well. And the last but not the least the seventh cure always bring something to read, for example when you want to go outside bring with you a book or if not a book a kindle our types of electronic book.
After reading the articles of cures for boredom, I learned that no matter how small a problem or a sickness is there would be always a cure for it. All things are just temporary. Like the fifth cure that Gretchen Rubin wrote, look for a way to feel grateful because these are all just challenges that everyone is facing. I'm sure all of us would be able to face this kind of challenge with a smile. to be able to achieve success first, we must be able to pass this kind of challenge which is boredom.
